The Miracles Continue
More Miracles About My Husband’s Recovery From Cardiac Disease
The last time I wrote about miracles regarding my 80 year-old husband was after he had endured four very risky procedures in two hours to unblock one totally occluded artery on September 27, 2023.
I write tonight a brief synopsis of at least two more miracles as they relate to my husband’s journey toward cardiac health. I just wrote this reply to a gal I know who inquired about how my husband was doing and how I was doing. It will serve well as an update AND first representation publicly of miracles that occurred for my dear husband, Dave…
“Dave is doing great! He had his angiogram to place stents on December 4 and the surgeon was very pleased with the “beautiful” healing of the artery that underwent such trauma at the end of September. He said the blood flow was like a faucet turned to wide open. I smiled from ear to ear because I knew God had healed the artery. He is a new man with a functioning heart again.
What I didn’t say was that we had three ER visits in 10 days leading up to the Monday before Thanksgiving. The last one was the worst experience. It was just before midnight and he passed out in my arms because his blood pressure tanked. I caught him in what looked like cardiac arrest. It wasn’t, but his heart stopped. I called out, “Jesus help” and I saw an immediate change with an obvious electrical charge of Dave’s heart and he started to breathe again. I will always remember how Jesus saved his life and really mine because I would have suffered without him.
I took a sabbatical of sorts on December 3 for an undetermined amount of time to get myself some rest and recovery. I will work only about ten hours the rest of December. Playing it by ear. I am glad that I listened to a prompt to take time off and enjoy my husband this Christmas.
God is soooo good!💜💜💜”
And I understood an amazing truth from Psalm 91 as I read it today. I often pray this Psalm over my husband and me. Toward the end of the Psalm, God is quoted saying,
Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. With a long life, I will satisfy him and let him see My salvation.’” (Psalm 91 NASB)
God obviously rescued my husband on November 20, 2023 when I called on His Name. He immediately acted and gave a heartbeat back to Dave. He was with me and Dave in our time of trouble. CPR crossed my mind, but Dave was upright in a kitchen chair where I had caught him going suddenly sideways and out. All I could do and the BEST thing I could do was to call out, “Jesus help.” With a long life, God will satisfy me and my husband and continue to show us how He saves us over and over from peril.
To God be the Glory Forever!!!
In awe of My Savior,
Nancy Womersley
